Leslie Stark, Founder and CEO of Stark & Co, created the brand inspired by her four Dobermans (The Dobie Team) and her life with horses. 

The Active Line was later introduced to the Brand after she certified herself as a dog trainer focused on emotional management and positive reinforcement. 

“I realized I had the need of introducing the proper tolos to make your dogs walk better; people don’t usually understand the importance of long leashes and allowing your dog to explore and snif. No walk is fullfilling for your dog if he walks by your side the whole hour. Its a long way to shift the mindset of people, but we need to start somewhere.”
